I know that this board isn't connected to the official website, but I'm hoping some fans can help me out. I just reactivated my fan club membership, and I've never bought tickets through the presale before. I read online that the fan club members will have a THREE day jump on the public. That is just awesome. Anyway, I was hoping someone who has done it before can tell me how it works. Will they email a code out? Will I just log into the member section and purchase my tickets through the GS website? Will there be a place to enter my member number on TicketMaster? I just want to be in the loop before October 9th! Can anyone help a fellow GS fan out?
I still can't believe this is the last tour before "The Cowboy Rides Away." I'm usually the last person to care what a celebrity does or doesn't do, but I was crying during the press conference. Long live King George!

In the past, you received an email from the fan club before the tickets go on sale and they explain in detail how to purchase tickets. You need to read the email carefully and follow the instructions. Some venues are different but most of the time you will enter your fan club user info when the tickets go on sale.

FAN CLUB PRE-SALE TICKETS
Things You Need To Know
Our first Fan Club Pre-sale for 2013 George Strait concert tickets will take place on Tuesday, October 9th at 10am. As noted at the time of your membership purchase, all fan club members who have been members for at least seven days prior to the pre-sale will be eligible to make one purchase of a maximum of 4 tickets for each show while they last. Quantities are limited. Each member in good standing during the required time period will receive an email on Friday night, October 5th with instructions on how to purchase the tickets. Each member making an effort to purchase tickets must know their Username and Password in order to get into the members only section of the fan club. After you have entered the Members Only section, please follow the instructions in the email to make your purchase.
The George Strait Fan Club does not guarantee seats in any particular location and all are sold by the ticketing agency on a first come-first served basis.

I just joined gs fan club and I want to be able to buy tickets before they go on sale. I work all night and by the time I get up I am afraid they will be sold out. I live in Lubbock and since I am new I have not received anything telling me how to buy the tickets. I have never missed his show and I have been a fan ever since he started. I am 62 and I don"t want to miss his last tour. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ranger ... I am a fan club member. From what I read about the day the tickets go on sale, I am assuming I can purchase 2 tickets for the Las Vegas concert Feb2 and 2 tickets for the Hartford, CT concert Feb23. That is my plan to see George twice this year in two different venues with a guest at each show. Am I correct? Thanks!

here is a quick answer.
Glenda,
As long as you have had the fanclub membership for
more than 7 days I think you should be getting an email
from them prior to the show about ticket purchases.
And Straitfan1981, Yes you can purchase tickets from
each show. I normally go to 2 or three each tour if possible.

was wondering if anyone knew if the email membership allowed you to purchase the presale tickets. i have emailed and called and messaged the fan club and cannot find this information. I would buy the one in the mail, but it is not allowing me to. So if i buy the email memebrship can i do presale?

Im trying to buy tickets for the San Antonio concert on June 1. What is the best way to purchase them in advance of the public sale on 3/9? Can I still buy tickets through the fan club? They aren't answering their phones...

I've been a fan club member since Oct 2012, just to guarantee me to get tickets for last concert tour. I have never received any e-mails from the fan club, not even my welcome package to the fan club with all the promised items. I have sent many e-mails and made numerous phone call attempts. No response to e-mails and phone is either busy or they don't answer. Now the day is here in 1 hr for presale for June 1 concert and I have no idea how to purchase tickets if my member ship user I'd and password don't work. Did anyone receive email from fan club on presale instructions for "Cowboy Rides Away Tour"? I am so disappointed in George Straits fan club.  |

Once you click on the link, you will be taken to a ticketmaster page, you will then be required to enter either your George Strait Fan Club username and/or password in the box provided. Your username and password is located below. If you have difficulty accessing the ticket page, try using your password first. If that fails, try using your username.
Your GS Fan Club username or password will allow you access to presale tickets. PLEASE NOTE: Your username and password are derived from your George Strait fan club username and password. They are case sensitive and have had all non-alpha/numeric characters removed. For example, if using your fan club Username and it is DinaGSFan@yahoo.com, then you put DinaGSFanyahoocom - using (dinaGSFanyahoocom, dinagsfanyahoocom or any other derivative will not work). Quick question: I joined the fan club on Monday the 23rd, hoping it would give me enough time before presale dates came out for Omaha. Got my emails on the 24th... looks like presale will be Oct 1st, which is 8 days from when I joined and 7 from when they emailed me. Here, you are saying it's 7 days prior, but on the site it says 10.
Do you think I'll still get an email with the password?? I'm getting nervous!

New Kids on the Block is my favourite band of 90s. NKOTB had so many hit songs! The ones I remember are 'Tonight', 'Baby, I Believe In You' and, of course their hit 'Step By Step'. These are real masterpieces, not garbage like today! And it is awesome they have a tour in 2019! So I'm going to visit their concert this year. The tour dates is here: newkidsontheblocktour2019. I been trying to contact his fan club too. They will not anwser emails and when I tried to call them today the number wouldn't go through. Looks like I'll be getting crap seats for San Antonio, and I am flying from Tulsa, OK for the concert. I been following George Strait since 1981 and this is a kick in the dang teeth to me. I haven't been able to get tickets to a single show near me. OKC, Little Rock and Houston sold out. I can't go way far away due to my schedule, I have returned to college to finish my BBA. I'm just deeply upset that George Strait's fan club has turn out like the other fan club I made the mistake of joining and that I'm gonna fly all the way to San Antonio to sit in the freaking rafters.....may as well stay home.
