Will someone please upload these performances from George's 1988 hour-long Austin City Limits on You Tube?
"Baby Blue"
"Let's Fall to Pieces Together"
"Nobody in His Right Mind"
I made a playlist of George videos, and I want to try to get every single No. 1 the King has scored, and I find it odd that the 88 concert hasn't been uploaded. I remember seeing it on CMT about 9 years ago, but i didn't record it.

Sounds like a good idea but since they would most likely be on video tape back then the show would have to changed over to digital to upload it.
It can be done but not sure anyone has the original shows on VHS or trasfered to DVD.

I have the videotape of this concert but don't have the faintest idea what to do with it to get it on utube. If the Ranger will give me someone's address ro send it to, I'll be happy to do so. WHAT IN HEAVEN'S NAME IS A CAPTCHA?

If Ranger doesn't respond in a few days, I could hit the "Report to Mod" button to get his attention.

Greetings !
I'm on the road and just checked on this thread.
First of all welcome to the forum Anna Kay Davis !
Captcha is a security feature that the board has. If you aren't a registered member of the board you can post here but the Captcha security feature will ask you to type the words so that it knows you are human and not a program running advertising spam messages.
As far as taking the video and making it digital they have several ways to do this and you can buy software that works on your computer that will take the output wires of your VHS tape player and record it digitally so you can preserve it on a DVD.
There are services that will do this for you but if it is a copyright protected video they may not copy it for you to digital.
Video tapes never last very long and putting the show on DVD is actually a great idea.
If you taped it off your TV they may do it for you no problem.
Uploading the video to Youtube would then require breaking the video down into segments because of the length of time of the video.
It could be done but would require some time, patience and some basic video editing software to edit the video into smaller clips.

Does Ace in the Hole 78 not want this badly enough to arrange for some way for me to send it to you thru the mail?

I want these too, especially Baby Blue. Had the show vhs but misplaced it. One with tears streaming down his face when singing Baby Blue less than 3 years after his daughter's death.
