Wow.
I am so sorry for your friend and for the pain she is in and also for what you are facing. I lost a few family members to cancer and it is always a struggle for all involved. Sometimes the attempt to cure this can be worse than the cancer itself.
Remember that we all have someone watching over us no matter what religion or faith we have.
When I go to the beach I am always reminded that we are all grains of sand in the giant ocean of life. It is our SOULS that live on and what separates us from all things in the universe. This will never be taken from us and we are more than just our bodies. Be with her in her time on earth and she will move to a better place in time.
Your friend will be watching over you for the rest of your life. I often feel the presence of my Grandfather watching over me and it's hard to explain but I do believe this to be true.
Every second we are given on this planet is a gift. we must make sure we live it to the fullest and treat those around us with love.
As I get older in life this scripture means more and more to me. I am not very religious but it is comforting in times of grief.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 23

Thanks Ranger for the awesome scripture. Yeah, cancer has taken my grandmother away from me too. I was 8 and she died from breast cancer. It tore me up,but I know she's in a better place. I believe the same for my friend Mirza.

Where would country music be without George Strait?

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. It is so hard to lose someone and even worse when that someone is so young. But soon she will be with Jesus and no longer in pain and she will watch over you and her family and smile down upon you. And if she's a George Strait fan, she will have the best seat in the house to all the shows... (sorry, I didn't mean to make light of the subject, it's just that I know that George and his music can make people happy even in the worst of times.) Hugs to you and hugs to your friend.
