hey :] as ya'll know(well some of ya'll), I'm Gabrielle,I go by Gabbie though. I am 13. My birthday is in July and I am in 8th grade. I was born in Florida. I now live in Connecticut. I have been a fan of George since I was about 5 years old. I used to beg my parents to play George all the time. I have never seen George live before. My parents have. George's song; "You're something special to me" was my parent's wedding song. I have a 9 year old brother who also loves George. What about ya'll?     |

I saw Pure Country and heard him sing on Hee Haw and
that was about it. I enjoyed his music and the fact that
he didn't have a nasal fake country accent when he sang.

My first "TV" George Strait experiences all happened one long weekend. I had bronchitis, feeling miserable, channel surfing. I happended upon CMT. Pure Country was showing. It was at the very beginning where it shows a close up of "Dusty" then pans back. I was mesmerized. I kept CMT on all weekend. They showed Pure Country, Stacked, Austin City Limits and his new video, She'll Leave You With A Smile, back to back to back.
Last year was my first George Strait concert. The whole place was electrified. I was tingleing from my head to my toes. When he walked out...the noise the fans made was louder than anything I've ever heard. He was magical. Even now I can close my eyes and can still hear it.

 I have been a Strait fan since 1981 when I heard "Unwound" on the radio. I thought he was a great talent,good looks..WHOO HOO..sensuality,humorous endeared him to not only me but millions,as did the humility and kindness he has demonstrated throughout his life.He can sing the phone book and sound wonderful.  George is down to earth,awesome and the King of cool!! lol The Man,the life,the legend.....PRICELESS!!  Luv that Cowboy!! And ohhhh he looks mighty fine in a pair of wranglers! He wears 'em well!!  |
