SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County deputies are investigating the death of a deceased person in the Northwest part of the county.
The dead man has been identified as John “Buddy” Strait, Jr., brother of the popular Country and Western singer George Strait.

Buddy Strait’s body was found at a La Quinta Inn on 1-10 near Ralph Fair Rd. He was discovered by housekeeping around 11:30 a.m. Friday.
At this time, the 58-year-old Strait’s death appears to be natural. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact cause.

This is a very sad time for George and his whole family. I'm sure it will set George back just like Jenifer's death did. I can't help but think about how George was on top of the world a few days ago at the "ACM Artist of the Decade" show and now this. May God be with the Strait family and give them peace.

I wish i could take away the pain of the Strait families loss.The death of a loved one is one of life's most difficult experiences.My condolences & prayers to the Strait family and relatives.Please remember the Strait family in your thoughts and prayers. RIP John (Buddy) Strait Jr.   |

After suffering extreme drought conditions, it is suppose to rain in San Antonio today.
Even Texas is crying.
