So. Awhile back.. I emailed the Opry. They replied back. Here's the emails:
To whom it may concern,
My name is Gabrielle Drew,I am 13 years old and I live in
Norwalk,Connecticut. I am a big fan of country music and I have been to he Opry before and I watch "Opry Live" on GAC alot. So I see
inductions. I have a question..Why isn't George Strait in the Opry? He isone of the real country artists out there. True,he isn't Nashville
country. He's more honkytonk western swing, but that doesn't seperate him completely from your type of country music. It's not like he's rap or rock. He's country too. And can I say, that even though I do love the Opry. I am disappointed in you guys. You let Carrie Underwood in and she
hasn't even been around for 10 years..But you don't let George Strait in
and he is the king of country music. He has been singing and touching
lives of others since 1981(when his debut album came out). It just blows
me away that he's not a member of the Opry. With all due respect to
Miss.Underwood,She hasn't been around long enough to be inducted into
the Opry. Whereas.George Strait,He's been around awhile and he's not a member. Please reply. I think he deserves a place in the Opry.
Best regards,
Gabrielle Drew
OPRY REPLY 1:George Strait has an open invitation to come to the Opry. He has never
performed at the Opry. We appreciate your comments and they will be
passed on to the Opry administrators.

Best regards,
Gabrielle Drew

Best regards,
Gabrielle Drew
OPRY REPLY: There is more to it then just that, but it would have to be the first step.

MY REPLY: Oh, I see. Sorry for my dumb questions. I'm not familiar at all with the Opry induction process. in regard to the original question I asked, you said you got that question every day, just about. I am doing a survey and I was wondering, what is the youngest age you got this question from?
Best regards,
Gabrielle Drew
OPRY REPLY: Not everyone tells me their age, so I would have to say you are the youngest.
