So, I saw that movie yesterday. What did ya'll think of it? (if you've seen it) I thought the storyline was real good. I liked the ending too. But not to offend anyone, because I love George. He is like the coolest. But he's not that good of an actor. I like him singing better. What do ya'll think?

Wow,that was deep (: ! But I totally agree. And I think it's great that George is so faithful to Norma. I was like blown away when I heard that. Just hearing that made me like George even more,he's such a wholesome well mannered guy. I'd love to meet him. Honestly. He is my rolemodel because he's not one of those country music druggies. As stated before,he is very wholesome.

The first time I saw that movie on CMT in 2000, is when I fell hard for George. I never listened to country before that. Gabby,
I've fallen for you and that's a fact. What do you say about that.
That is my #1 favorite George Strait song of all time. My 30th anniversary is coming up and I had it printed on pretty paper and framed to give to my husband.
Does he ever look bad or sing lousy? In 9 years of being a devoted fan, I haven't seen or heard it.

CMT News Joe Nichols Confirmed for Broadway's Pure Country Musical April 8, 2009Joe Nichols will play the lead role in the Broadway version of the George Strait film, Pure Country. Nichols told CMT Insider he would be going to New York City at the end of October and that the show would start in early 2010. Nichols said the production is an updated version of the 1992 movie. Asked how he feels about stepping into a role originated by Strait, Nichols said, "It feels pretty amazing. He's been a hero of mine since I was a little kid so to come along behind him ... on Broadway and do something that people dream their whole lives of doing is pretty amazing." Nichols has also released a new single, "Believers," to country radio. www.cmt.com/news/news-in-brief/1608867/joe-nichols-confirmed-for-broadways-pure-country-musical.jhtml

I think Joe's a good choice. He'll never be as good as George, but I think he'll do a good job. I hope the symbolism and such is as good as the old one.
