There's talk over at CMT about requesting ROL and the impact it has or might have. I just pulled up an online request form from 106.1fm Milwaukee and as I was checking off the 5 songs I wanted to request, including ROL, I notice the URL at the top of my screen: www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/7/stationplaylistrequest.asp?format=C1&c_let=WMIL-FMNo doubt other stations have a similar link, we just need to find them. That way our request goes through and appears it would have an impact, even if they don't get around to playing it.

Where would country music be without George Strait?

Good discovery. I'll be checking for that link.

I've been voting for ROL and others and writing in I Run To You by Lady Antebellum if it's not on there. Love that song.

Cool! I been voting for ROL, Troubadour, I Saw God Today (or Love Without End, Amen) and JT's Everything is Fine and either Long Black Train, Me and God, or Would You Go With Me.

I think it was Casims that originally posted a link to register for Mediabase's RateTheMusic.com surveys. I got another one in my e-mail today and ROL is one of the many songs on this months form. They also ask for e-mail addresses for others who might want to do these surveys, so if you're not registered but would like to do this, you can go to the link above. Lots of good songs on the list and you get to say how much you like the song as well as whether or not your tired of hearing it. I like that part. Another time, they asked participants to listen to several new songs by an artist and give our opinions. I think it's fun.
