Hi {{{{{everyone}}}} just have a couple of minutes but I know some are going to the Carson, CA. show.
According to George's site, and an email I received, George is changing his show to the Honda Center in Anaheim, same date, at 8:00 P.M. It seems that George will not have opening acts, pure Strait all of the way, according to the website. YIPEE
Here comes the part that doesn't make me happy. Ticketmaster will automatically refund all charges and allow you to purchase tickets that match (??) your seats. How this is possible, I don't know since the Carson show was front stage, Honda is in the round. If you purchased your tickets at the point of sell, you will have to return there to get your new seats. Tickets will be offered prior to the general public, the day before.
Now...what concerns me is this. If one had front row for Carson, will you get front row for Anaheim? I'm thinking of our Kim and her grait seats since she's the only one I know of going to the show. We couldn't go anyway (do you all hear me sobbing?) so it works for us.
I think I mentioned, when it was first announced that George would be playing in Carson, my concern as that isn't the best area of town. I wonder if his advanced team said, "Uhhhh no you aren't" lol and switched it to Anaheim? The good news for those going, the distance between Carson and Anaheim isn't terrible, maybe 30 miles or so if you have rooms booked. Depending on traffic, 30 minutes to an hour.
Linda who has and will continue to have PSCD =)

lol just like real life sometimes, I'm talking to myself Ticketmaster sent an email but it went into my spam folder because they changed the address to "notification@ticketmaster" blah blah. Thank goodness I saw it. The presell for the Anaheim tickets go on sell tomorrow, Saturday 3/8/08 at 11:00 AM, PST, NOT on the 11th or 12th as we thought it might be. They are automatically, as mentioned, crediting your credit card but still keeping, I think it is, $5.45 per ticket so you won't get the entire amount back. I know it's only about $11.00 but it's the principle. I checked the Strait website today, no mention, ticks me off! We'll be gone most of the day tomorrow so no hope of, even if we could go, to get tickets and if I hadn't checked my spam folder, I would have waited until the 11th or the 12th in CASE lol I could try for front row. This just isn't right! Mama ain't happy =) Linda =)

Hi Linda
I didn't realize you couldn't go to the concert. That's too bad. I am still kicking myself for not being able to go. Oh well, next year is gonna be my year, he'll be here in Arizona...then I'll get the next night in Vegas...and next year is the year I get a meet and greet...(at least it better be). I may just die if I don't.
Hope all's well with you.... miss ya.
hugs Strait to you!
