Hi {{{{{everyone}}}} just have a couple of minutes but
I know some are going to the Carson, CA. show.
According to George's site, and an email I received,
George is changing his show to the Honda Center in
Anaheim, same date, at 8:00 P.M. It seems that
George will not have opening acts, pure Strait
all of the way, according to the website. YIPEE
Here comes the part that doesn't make me happy.
Ticketmaster will automatically refund all charges
and allow you to purchase tickets that match (??)
your seats. How this is possible, I don't know since
the Carson show was front stage, Honda is in the
round. If you purchased your tickets at the point
of sell, you will have to return there to get your
new seats. Tickets will be offered prior to the
general public, the day before.
Now...what concerns me is this. If one had front
row for Carson, will you get front row for Anaheim?
I'm thinking of our Kim and her grait seats since
she's the only one I know of going to the show.
We couldn't go anyway (do you all hear me sobbing?)
so it works for us.
I think I mentioned, when it was first announced that
George would be playing in Carson, my concern as
that isn't the best area of town. I wonder if his
advanced team said, "Uhhhh no you aren't" lol
and switched it to Anaheim? The good news for
those going, the distance between Carson and
Anaheim isn't terrible, maybe 30 miles or so
if you have rooms booked. Depending on traffic,
30 minutes to an hour.
