I am so tired of some people on the FB page complaining about ticket prices being $400. It has been posted many times that regular tickets cost $70 and $90. Only the VIP packages cost $400 and $1000. I paid for the $400 VIP package because it is my last chance to ever see George Strait, and I consider my second row seat at the corner of the stage a value even without all the other VIP frills.
Then some will complain that they can't find tickets on the Internet for $70. You think? That is what happens when you wait around and don't buy them at the box office or through TicketMaster, the official seller. It isn't George Strait trying to rip you one and make you pay $400 for a nosebleed seat on StubHub. I bought mine time the fan club sale started on TM.
There's also those who are complaining that $70 is too much for a concert. Huh? That's for two shows. It's like $35 for each of them. It costs a lot of money to operate a tour with overhead for transportation, food, accommodations, ect. The band and crew have to be paid. They facility gets a cut, too.
I know that money is tight for some people, but $70 is not too much to see two award winning artists perform for almost four hours. It is not 1981 anymore. If you can't afford to see the concert, that's fine. Whining about it on the FB page is pointless though. Believe me, there are hundreds of thousands who are more than willing to pay hard earned money to see King George. His ticket prices are more than reasonable.

Some people complain a lot. It's what they do. I agree that Martina and George give fans a lot for their money.
