Is George against playing the CMA Fest because he doesn't get paid to perform? Reba was there last year, and I was thinking, "I wish King George would play there at LP field" I know the artists' set lists are limited to 8 songs, but Mr. Strait could include that medley of "Write This Down," "Does Ft. Worth Ever Cross Your Mind?", "She'll Leave You With a Smile," "Check Yes or No" and "The Chair" that he did on the 2003 ACM Awards, along with Hf*gT, Amarillo by Morning, Heartland, I Saw God Today, and Unwound. He's the King of Country and I'm sure people would love to see him there.

Don't think so, aceinthehole87 (that he's anti-CMA Fest). Living in Texas instead of Tennessee, I suppose it's just harder for him to get to all the events. Thirty years in the business, I think he's earned the right to pick and choose when and where he plays. No doubt there are lots of people who would love to see him there.
