Yes, you can tell this really was hard on George to do. His eyes were definitely moist like he was about to cry. When I watched his "retirement" press release and was so saddened by it, but yet I realized he deserves retirement at this time in his life. He adores and loves his family and now that he is a grandad he wants to spend more of his time watcing him grow....can't blame him for that! I just can't imagine my life without George Strait in it as I have gone to so many of his concerts I can't count them and have all of his cd's, including his box set, his New Year's Eve video filmed in Dallas, "Pure Country" movie, books witten about him, and even Country Weekly magazines with him in them and on the covers. I am just going to have to be content listening to his cd's and watching his video and "Pure Country" movie, but I will STILL miss seeing him in concert and on TV. GOD BLESS YOU GEORGE!
