Back in the good old days he would throw his hat into
the audience but he stopped most likely because of
the venues insurance.
I have more but everything is stored in boxes form
moving. I will post more as time (and boxes get opened)
goes by.

I got these from a bar in Tacoma after the concert... They are about 3 x 5 feet vinyl banners...one was free, one we tipped the waitress $20...LOL Well worth it!!    |

ok - kim - with all the concerts you go to, the car, the boat, the neighborhood it appears that you are either financially comfortable or in Strait debt. When I play the lottery I always think that if I win I can go to all of George's concerts, hell I'll buy a house near him in TX.

LOL I am Strait in debt alright....LOL... I do have a good job, and am up to 5 weeks of paid holidays, so I am very fortunate. And I am most fortunate for having an understanding hubby... ....and a charge card...LOL  |

Thanks for all the good advice Linda. I did manage to get my airfare today, good arrival and departure times to meet my friend too... seems like the price of airfare goes up and down like the darn stock market!! saved almost $100 today over yesterday.. WHAT?!? You can't go now??!?!? Oh nooooooooooo... I hope things can work out and you are able to..... I wanna see you again!!!!!  Oh, and I am not going to be in the 4th row anymore.... my friend and I UPgraded to C1 Row 1 Now I am REALLY excited to go and see our man!! Doesn't get much better....LOL I'd really LOVE to see you again Linda.... I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you!!!  |

I so enjoyed seeing all of the pictures. Most of my stuff, not as grait as you all have, but important to my heart, is stored. What I do have on my office wall, and I'll have to take a picture of it, are items from last years SC show. I have a dear friend who set up the show, she and her husband. She knows what a Strait nut I am so sent me an actual George guitar pick (she knew due to placement). The back says, "Hall of Fame", the set list with a boot mark, a "working crew" and a shirt/jacket sticker. The set list, with the boot mark IS from
George's boot as she picked it up right after he shook hands as he shook hands in the
round. Isn't it just grait that we have these treasures?
When we get back from LV, I'll take a picture of my sign that I made when George was
in SD and as he walked out to perform, he paused and laughed. Was too cute.
Talk to you all in the next couple of days.

This commercial was done when George was in Calgary for a concert... a friend of mine got to be there when it was shot, and they used her hubby's truck for the shoot!! Merry Ho Ho!!!   |

hope that didn't sound rude the comment i made about finances. i wonder sometimes how some of the fans can afford to travel so much to see george. i can only go when it's part of a business trip so my costs are low. it takes lots of effort to arrange work around a concert and not let on to anyone what i'm doing. usually it works out well for work because i work extra hard to make sure i don't get in trouble.
i'm still cleaning my home office so i can post some photos of my george stuff. when my son comes home from college he's seeing more and more George stuff in his room, which i've taken over as an office.
