I picked it up on my way to work this morning. I think I've listened to it about 4 times today. I love it. I think I like it better than Troubadour too. I love "I Gotta Get To You" and "Hot Grease and Zydeco". "Arkansas Dave" is pretty neat too. Another great CD as usual!

LOVE this cd, yes... better than Troubadour and that was a grait cd. I think Twang is gonna sell like wild fire. I LOVE the song "Twang" and "Where Have I Been All My Life" Way to go George! You've done it again!

I also think it is better than Troubadour. They are all so good. I like Twang and Beautiful Day for Goodbye. It is really hard to pick one over the others. It will be interesting to see which ones George picks to release this next year as singles!!!

Love, love, love this new album....but I also love "Troubadour". I just love George Strait! I've been accused of thinking George can do no wrong. Well...THAT's ALMOST true! I keep changing what my favorite songs are on "Twang"....maybe by time I play it a couple more times I'll know.

I love Troubadour, but this album beats it all. My favorite so far on the album is; "The breath you take" and "Same Kind of Crazy" But they are all fantastic.

I'm playing the CD and this song is playing. I admit that I had to google Zydeco, but I love this song!

Twang and Zydeco are both feel-good songs that make you want to move your feet.

Can someone say 60 number ones here we come?
What an awesome cd. There are easily 6 songs at the minimum that could be huge radio hits. If he does not release " I Gotta Get To You " then that would be a big waste just like " As Far As It Goes " was in that it was not released. Another 5 star cd from George!

I was thinking at least 4 if not more #1's on this cd. It would be so grait for him to get his 60th #1 from this cd.

I realized that Arkansas Dave wasn't the guy's father, he was the man who killed the shooter's father. Duh. Now the song makes more sense. Carry on.
I asked over at CMT, but will add it here also: IF they do a video, and I think they will, which song do you think it will be? I'm voting for Twang, the title song -- like they did with Troubadour. But that would mean they'd release Twang as a single and lots of people don't think that will happen.

I think Twang would make an excellent video and I think it would do very well on radio. I don't understand the country radio stations these days... half the stuff you hear on the country stations, are also on the pop stations. I think country stations need to STAY COUNTRY! Now, how do we get them to do that??

I had to listen to that song a few times to figure out who killed who also. Great song.
