Ed said, "I think George is going to be forced into building a bunk house for you on his ranch Kim." rofl!! Too true and too needed. Wouldn't we all be so thrilled that our Kim would have that? We would bask in her glory. We worked all day here and believe it or not, I forgot about the Carson tickets. My husband had to take out a palm tree (poor baby, it wasn't easy) and I cleaned all of our windows which I hadn't done since our fires here in Oct. We were laughing because it was the 40th anniversary of our 1st date and here we are, doing life together. Not sure if I'll try for Carson tickets and it's going to kill me but know that whomever goes, you'll be there in my heart and I'll rootingfor all of you. Of course, we know our Kim will get grait pictures and share them, as she always does. Darn, now I have to go check for tickets lol. Love to all, Linda =)

OMG!! =) I am truly blessed to be married to the man I am. I was telling him about this fun and new website for all of our friends, telling him Kim is going to Carson, etc. He said, (since I forgot about it lol), "See what you can get". First attempt was in the grass area, and then continual B1 section, row 20, seats change a bit but next 10 attempts, same seats. I'm in the office here, running back and forth, and yes, you may laugh, saying, "Nooo I don't think we should", we could gamble with that money in LV and he said, "Please, how many times do you get to see George twice per year? Get the tickets" One concert per year is HUGE for me and I feel like crying!! Ok, it's row 20 but I'm beyond thrilled.
Kim, your tickets are excellent and you're right smack dab in the middle of the seating chart on the floor. I'll be to your right but you know that won't stop me from doing my mad dash. I so want all of our other friends to be there. Donna, go check now!! Ed!! Get tickets!! Gotta hug you all again and hug Ed for the first time.
I'm thinking my sweet husband is going to need a hotel room, even though it's only about an hour or so from home or the U.S Open tickets in June...hotel room/golf..which one? (LOL) YIPEEEEEEEEEE with a major guilt thing going on. Hey, Teresa could go to this one too but she's in the middle of tax season, gosh darn it! A veryyyyyyyy happy Linda =)

Geeeeez.... I am having a tough time finding a dang flight to L.A. I thought I could use my airmiles, but all the freebie seats are GONE.... must be spring break......kiddies going to Disneyland... I will have to drive to Vancouver... about 4 hours, and hop on a flight there... and pay full fare...lol.....glad I got my seat thru the Fan Club and NOT broker..... s'ok.... Hey Linda, how far of a drive do you have? Are you going to stay in Carson for the night?

{{{Donna}}} I certainly understand...been there/done that. I know it won't help to say you'll be in our hearts but you will be!! If I do the mad dash up front with Kim, I'll stick both of my hands out so he can shake both, one for me, one for you.
{{{{Kim}}} we're working on our plans now. Seems we're always working around a calendar of some sorts. We "think" at this point, since it was such a quick decision for me lol, we may be in LV that weekend, drive from there to Carson and spend the night there. Long day otherwise. Did you get your flight yet? You could fly into John Wayne airport or wait, there's an airport in Orange Co. too. The drive from Orange Co., to Carson is heck.....thinking...not long, 30 minutes, if that? John Wayne is I think, in Ontario. Everything depends on traffic but on a Sat. it would be a bit less than during the week. Push came to shove with getting your tickets, and Spring Break, you could fly into Lindberg (San Diego), rent a car if we're not here. It's about 90 minutes, roughly. Might help with tickets for you. Spring Breaks in California all depend on the school districts, ours is later here. Ohhhh if you need to get a hotel room, try Torrance, Redondo Beach, thinking of others. I'm not sure I'd stay in Carson, no I wouldn't after all. Until I can think of other cites, you could google, "South Bay" which is where Torrance, Redondo Beach, etc. are.
I was peeking again at the tickets and they are now in back row D and for us Strait Nuts, not close enough.
Ed, did you get tickets? I have to hug you for our Donna too. LOVE this site and all of you. Linda =)

{{{Linda}}}
Thanks for thinking about me, but don't feel bad when I say...
IT'S JUST NOT ENOUGH! LOL -- I can't believe this is gonna be a "one concert year" for me. PSCD has never been so bad!
But I hope you guys have the time of your life, make sure you throw that cowboy a kiss for me...PICTURES, PICTURES AND MORE PICTURES -- please.

roflmao {{{Donna}}} that was just TOO cute, that pouty face!! Could you hear me smiling and laughing from here? Miss you!
{{{Kim}}} darn!! Ok, how about this. If the price difference is that much, since you have to meet your friend, could you pay for a shuttle to the airports I mentioned for your friend? There are tons of shuttles between LAX and the other airports. Might save you a lot of $$? Your worry, that time of year is fog and ground delays so they'd shuttle you over anyway (via their cost). The distance between LAX and the other airports, while it might seem huge to some, isn't that much and you/they won't have to drive those darn freeways. We picked our son up, one Christmas? He lived in Ventura and if the traffic was normal, a 2 1/2 hour drive home. Took us SEVEN hours to get home so consider that too.
We just looked at the school schedule and other stuff and we're not sure we can go!!!!! Now, I'm ok with that after LV and I'll cry for a week BUT our neighbor who loves George, not as much as we do, has never seen him. She's so sweet, will turn 70 in early May. I (sorry) copy all of his CD's for her. Her husband hates country but I know if he see's our King George, he'll change his mind. I might either give (GASP) him our tickets or have them buy them at cost. Bless her heart. She knows we see George every year, we talk about seat placement and she thinks the band knows me (lol God love her). Dave, however is saying, "Nope, we're going" so we'll see. LOL can you imagine them seeing LBT?
Kim, a SUPER good place to eat if you have a car (rambling mode, I'm tired) is a fast food place called Steve's. Hole in the wall in Torrance (perhaps Carson too but Carson is really close to Torrance). GRAIT pastrami sandwhiches. HUGE portions. I'll find the address (of all of them in Torrance) for you. Good stick to your ribs, not expensive food. Our son always says, when we eat there, "Better wear pants that aren't tight in the waist" lol. The fries and onion rings could be shared by 3 people. Linda =)
