Josh Turner released the single "She'll Go On You" just before my mother passed away. I still can't listen to that song. When the cd comes to it, I skip it.

Music has a big influence on my life. Brad Paisley's song; "When I get where I'm going." reminds me of my Nana. She died when I was 8,from Breast Cancer. Whenever I hear that song,I get all teary eyed. It brings back memories. George Strait's song; "You're something special to me." reminds me of my parents wedding. That was their wedding song. Many of George's songs remind me of my life or events in my life. In 2007,My Mom,Dad,Brother and myself went to Texas to go visit my Dad's roots. We went to San Antonio and on the way there,we played. "Home in San Antone." Then we played other songs of his, then when we saw the sign for the next state(Arkansas, I think) we played. "The Cowboy rides away" and I remember sitting in the backseat of the car, looking down at the carfloor, crying because I didn't want to leave Texas. Thenn. In 2008, We went to Pilesgrove,NJ. We went to the Cowtown Rodeo(AMAZING ) and there was this male singer, singing covers of country songs and my Dad requested; "How bout them cowgirls." and the singer sang it and I remember my Dad pointing at me and my Mom. It was so fun. So whenever I listen to that song,That's what I think of. Oh and every year in Harrisburg,PA, me and my family attend the rodeo and farmshow and it's real cool, after the rodeo,I get to meet the cowboys and cowgirls and get autographs. But usually we do the mechanical bull first. And I love doing that. I love staying on.(I usually stay on longer then 8 secs. ) And this year when I got on the bull, they were playing "Amarillo by morning." So,certain songs bring back memories. :]
