I just got one of these surveys by e-mail. The first song on the December Country survey was ROL.

I was just streaming WBUL from Lexington, KY and they were playing Taylor Swift. So I shut it off :-) and saw a "request a song here" on their website. I clicked and typed in River of Love by George Strait. I clicked send. I pulled up the live stream again and there's George Strait just starting River of Love. LOL So I go back to the "request a song here" and e-mail the DJ saying "that was fast!" How about anything by George Strait or Lady A? I'm in the middle of a snow storm here so I'm staying put until the morning. Will be trying different stations looking for the fewest commercials and the easiest way to request songs.

Is there a direct link to the survey at WGNA 107.7 that George is on. I saw on the message board that he is on Taylor's heals. He needs to pass her up.

When I posted that, I meant that Taylor was on George's heels, not the other way around. George was at 25% and Taylor at 22%. I don't want to see her overtake him! I don't know if this stuff matters in the least to the artists, but the spirit of competition gets me!

I'm streaming FM 106.1 from Milwaukee and on their front page, they have various links under What's New! The links are things like: Hot Women of Country, 50 Things that Can Kill You, Urban Legends and Hot Men of Country Music. Noticeably absent in the Hot Men category are some of my favorites, including George Strait. I doubt the station puts these together themselves, so I decided to e-mail the dj on air right now and told him that in light of this omission, would he play ROL and a few other Strait songs.

Soooooooooo cool! The dj from 106.1 Milwaukee just e-mailed me back saying he'll check into why George isn't on that list AND he'll try to play some Strait. Yes!

I emailed too! I can't believe that George is not on that list!!! I told him just why George should be too. I told him that George is the only man who could get women to go to ESPN and watch shows they hate just to see commercials of his Wrangler patch.
