OMG, beautiful pictures. And my husband says "thanks" for the Marty pic. He's got a thang for that girl. ;D
I love this site. Much better than the one before, easier I think. And as much I as love to chat on the cmt board, this one is better! We'll just have to bring everyone from there, over here!

Ed, I thank you, my husband thanks you =) GRAIT pictures! If I copy them, my computer will crash and say, "Ok, enough George" lol. Tell me this though. On your camera, what setting, mode, did you use? Talk to me like I'm 5 . While I love mine from LV, best I've ever done, they aren't what I wanted. Too dark, etc. I practiced for a month on top of it. lol ask Donna, she got pictures of my closet! My helpful tip of the day. The website, www.irfranview.com is free and super easy to use once you know how. It crops pictures perfectly. Many of you may have photoshop, etc., but for those who don't, this is a good site to take out anything but our King George from a picture. I can walk you through it and I've used it for years. When I sold on eBay, I'd take out pictures of my toes with the item for sell sitting on the carpet lol, crop crop crop. Free and safe download, it's been around forever. My hint of the day =) Linda =)

Ahh yes.. the cameras You take one that looks professional grade and they might stop you at the gate. I take a small digital camera with the biggest features I can get for my buck. I use a $200 Kodak Z7 10 digital camera. I change the settings and try to adjust them to the light of the show as I go. There is a wheel on top and I just switch form portrait to auto and more. I can take better pictures but haven't masterd this camera even now. I know what songs they have the most light on and try to get what I can without getting in peoples way. Now I am not sitting as close as Kim is but always walk to the corner of the stage and then get out of the way. The BIG problem in a concert is having enough light. Your every day digital cameras has a VERY weak flash and that is why most people are having trouble getting pictures to come out. Add the shaking hand holding a small camera and you get the fuzz factor. The other key to great pictures is having a German made lens that is has the zoom features. You need to get light into your camera and those small lenses will never get the pictures that you want in the dark. I can fix most of my pictures with the kodak software that comes with the camera.

That Kodak has been replaced by a newer model with higher pix rate. It looks close but the new version is bigger in size but still has a great lens to work with. The flash is still weak on this camera so your timing and setting must be adjusted as the light in the concert changes. That same camera with good lighting took this picture. It is crystal clear when you see it in full size but may be a bit fuzzy from the host site.

Just so you know Every video I have was made with the same camera The mic is on the top and as long as you don't cover it with your hand (small camera) you can get a great vid with pretty good audio. The flash is built into the top and the only real drawback is the dang lens cover. When you turn the camera on you better have the lens cover off because the zoom lens extends and pushes it off. I think they changed this with the newer version.
