The smiley emoticons ) show up in your message and are look like / ) - or something a varitation of the marks and then after you post they are placed in your message. If you want an avatar ( pic next to your name) just yell and I can set it for you if you guide me to the photo you would like to use if it is giving you any trouble.

As long as you have a host site online for the picture then you can copy and paste the url of the picture.
If you right click on a photo and go down the min window that shows up and click PROPERTIES you will see another window pop up and the URL or address of that picture will show up.
Most sites online don't want you to direct link to a site so you can use imageshack or photo bucket to host it.
You can also move your mouse over most pictures online and then click SAVE to your computer (my Pictures) or wherever you save your photos.
Then you can go to another picture hosting site like Tiny Pic and click BROWSE and go into your pictures and then Tiny Pic will host the photo and give you a NEW URL that you can post in your profile under Avatar.
If all this sounds Greek to you just point me in the direction of the picture you want or email it to me and I will take care of the entire setup for you..
