After JT latest cd Everything is Fine he immediately became my 2nd favorite singer...love every song on this cd. I love his voice & choice of music almost (I said almost now) as much as George. I've been hyped up about seeing George this week so it's been about a wk or so since I've listened to Josh but I gotta be honest...there's times I'll listen to him thru out the day like I do George.  will always be #1 tho |

Josh Turner Takes Sick Leave

March 5, 2008 - Josh Turner has been placed on medical rest on the advice of his doctors, requiring him to cancel a series of activities this week.
Josh developed the flu several weeks ago and continued to work through it, but he then came down with a chronic sinus infection.
No concerts have been cancelled because of his illness, but he did have to bow out of a Grand Ole Opry appearance, a scheduled performance on "Crook & Chase" and plans to attend the 39th annual Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, where approximately 2,000 radio executives are gathering.

I reeeeeeally love Josh's new single with Trisha! It's funny.....hubs asked me the unthinkable.....you know that Question about when George quits touring.....THE HORROR OF IT!!!!!!!! Anyway, we have been to George shows together for the last six years and he's really gotten in to it. But he said---What's going to happen when George quits touring----who are you going to have to see every year like you have to see George?  ? After a few minutes of intense thought....I said probably Brad Paisley or Josh Turner! He thought I was going to say Alan. But I told him Alan was too close to the same age as George! If I was going to develop a new LOVE---he was going to be much younger than George!!! He thought that was a hoot! As you all know......We will never replace our GEORGE!!!! And it will be a very sad time!  |

George and Josh are definitely my two favorite artists. My favorite Josh Turner song is "The Way He Was Raised". My favorite George Strait song is "Love without End, Amen". Josh is kind of my mentor in a sense because I want to write music, and I love the music that Josh writes. George and Josh are both great role models with a lot of integrity. I hope they both continue to sing for a very long time to come.  |

Josh has an amazing voice, and I really like his taste in music. George is always my fav cause he's my hottie singing cowboy, but Josh can definitely sing.
